Busy, high-profile Chelsea restaurant is seeking a knowledgeable and high-energy entry-level manager to join our team.
Qualified applicants should possess the following:
• A sincere passion for food, beverage and hospitality
• A desire to share knowledge with staff, and to provide a supportive and structured work environment
• Exceptional customer service and clear communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and guide Front of House during busy service, while maintaining a poised and professional demeanor
• Awareness of health codes and standards; NYC Food Protection Certification preferred
• Experience with POSItouch preferred
• Open availability and the ability to learn, grow and adapt
Floor Managers will work closely with the General Manager to ensure that the restaurant’s standards are being met. As our restaurant is high-volume and team-oriented, floor managers are expected to be able to think on their feet, be quick on their feet, and maintain a positive attitude. Potential managers should be proficient in - and happy to assist with - all aspects of service, including expediting, hosting, and other tasks as needed.
Candidates should have experience as a Floor Manager or Assistant General Manager. However, as this is an entry-level position, captains and bartenders with a high-quality of experience that are looking to advance in the hospitality industry are also encouraged to apply.
